Iethan Punnia, Lawyer

Iethan Punnia is a litigation and corporate lawyer whose practice encompasses family law, civil litigation, personal injury, employment law, corporate law, debt recovery and collections, wills and estates, and estate litigation.

Iethan Punnia carries his files from intake through trial, appearing before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, and Small Claims Court. His approach is measured and strategic: he identifies the pressure points in a dispute early, advises candidly on risk and cost, and pursues the most effective resolution available, whether through negotiation, mediation, or, when necessary, at trial.

Years spent in compliance and operations roles across the transport, construction, and corporate sectors shape his perspective. Having advised leadership in federally regulated environments and managed regulatory exposure at an organizational level, he understands that legal problems are rarely just legal problems. He brings a commercial, results-oriented sensibility to every matter, accounting for the practical and financial realities his clients face.

Iethan holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Toronto, focused on business law, financial crime, and negotiation, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Birmingham, and an honours degree in Criminology and Politics. He advises businesses on regulatory risk, contract disputes, and complex commercial matters, and is equally devoted to guiding individuals through the personal matters that matter most to them.

Away from the office, Iethan is a devoted father and an amateur boxer, a sport whose demands for preparation and composure under pressure mirror the qualities that define his practice.
